This spring was filled with sessions for my favorite seniors. Ironically, they all took place in Charleston, SC (which is totally fine by me!)
The first senior I had the privilege to take photos of was
Karlynn Wannamaker.

Karlynn and I go way back, and funny story I used to date her brother and during that time we highly disliked each other. After that relationship dissolved, we became the best of friends, and she has been my support systems for years now. When choosing a location for Karlynn's senior pictures, I knew that Charleston would be PERFECT for her vivacious style and personality. Below are some of my favorites from our tour of downtown Charleston and surrounding areas.
Karlynn will attend the Wofford College in the fall (yay, closer to Clemson). I can't wait to continue to watch her grow, because I know she is going to take this world by storm.
The next senior that took on the Battery with me this spring was
Emily Benton.

I met Emily a few years ago when she asked me to take prom pictures for her Junior year. She has such a wonderful personalty, that shines bright and radiates through the pictures that she takes. Also, she always brings Jason along for the ride, and he adds so much laughter to our sessions and truly brings out the best in Emily. It has a blessing to know both of them and to be a part of their journey's through high school. Here are some of my favorites from our session.
Emily will attend College of Charleston in the fall, where I will envy her gorgeous campus for years to come. She plans to pursue a degree in early childhood education, and I know that her kind spirit will serve her and others well.
The last senior I had this spring, but certainly not least, was
Mary Catherine Williams.

I met Mary Catherine when she came to Orangeburg Prep a few years, and her family and I have become close friends. Her mom was our yearbook advisor, and though this class Mary Catherine and I grew closer when I was yearbook editor. Her honest personality, and her ability to bring positivity to any situation is one I admire. The bright colors of Charleston perfectly complimented her outgoing personality, she brought all the confetti (which I hightly recommend) and celebrated this ending of a chapter in her life so well! She also brought Karlynn, one of her closest friends who truly brought out her personality, and even coached her on posing. Here are some of my favorites from our session:
Mary Catherine is attending Orangeburg Technical College pursuing a degree in Nursing. she has a passion for serving others, which I know will only propel her in her career as a nurse.
As you can see, I have had the opportunity to work with these three unique high school grads this spring, and they have had such a vital impact on me as well! I love how the same location of downtown Charleston, highlighted the individual personalities of girl. I cannot wait to meet my Class of 2019 Seniors!
Best,
